Sometimes we need to access or search information from a certain website, but our college/office did not allowed it by blocking the site, here are some tricks on how to access blocked site:

Open your favorite search engine, and enter these keywords “proxy site” without the quotation mark.

A list of a proxy site will appear, now you should search and filter which sould work best for you.

Using those proxy site will allow you to access blocked site, if you dont know how to use a proxy site, you can read more on these tutorial:

How to use a proxy site:

Okay now you found a proxy site, what you should do next is enter the address of the blocked site into the text box on the proxy site.

Thats all, you should be able to surf on the blocked site now.

For you who are to lazy to search here are some proxy site I usually used:

surfunblocked.com and sitesmuggler.com

WARNING

Although not all of proxy sites would do these, but you should be careful, and not to enter any valuable information when using a proxy site, since you are rerouting the information through the proxy site, there’s a possibility that the proxy site could log the information you entered when using proxy site, so use it wisely.

I recently switched laptops at work and I just could NOT get used to the annoying fact that my delete button has shifted so far away that its became noticeably difficult to use.

Rather than try to adapt (or sprain my hand), I am using Sharpkeys, which is an excellent piece of freeware which allows you to remap your keyboard so your keyboard *ahem* “works the way it’s supposed to”.

Want an extra ‘Alt’ or ‘Shift’ key? Just remap another key to it. You can also choose to turn off some keys on your keyboard altogether (like capslock), if you they get in the way.

One thing I like about it is that it’s not a program which sits in the background. Instead, Sharpkeys has no system footprint as it writes all the changes you want directly to the registry itself.

Don’t settle – Take control of your keyboard!

Have you ever password your bios and after sometime you just forget what the password is, leaving you unable to access your bios again, well here’s an old trick to handle that kind of trouble

Make sure your computer is turned off and the cable is unplugged.

Open up your computer case so that your motherboard is accessible.

Search for the battery on the motherboard, usually has a circular shape and a silver metalic color

Carefully remove the battery and wait for about 2-3 minutes

Put back the battery, and start the computer

Now the computer will most likely to told you that the BIOS configuration cannot be found, now you can reconfigure your bios or just set them back to default.

By now the password should have been cleared.
