Have you ever password your bios and after sometime you just forget what the password is, leaving you unable to access your bios again, well here’s an old trick to handle that kind of trouble
- Make sure your computer is turned off and the cable is unplugged.
- Open up your computer case so that your motherboard is accessible.
- Search for the battery on the motherboard, usually has a circular shape and a silver metalic color
- Carefully remove the battery and wait for about 2-3 minutes
- Put back the battery, and start the computer
- Now the computer will most likely to told you that the BIOS configuration cannot be found, now you can reconfigure your bios or just set them back to default.
- By now the password should have been cleared.
